Up to 40% lighter than similar mowers in its class, the LM285 combines light weight with high traction and wide wheelbase at the rear to make it one of the most stable mowers around. Simplicity was a major design focus in the development stage and our engineers have created a sturdy but light weight machine with exceptional power to weight ratio. The LM285 is equipped with the ability to lift either outer arm independently, allowing access to narrow areas which would not normally be accessible to regular mowers. The twin traction drive pump arrangement means the LM285 has strong climbing ability and unmatched balance on hills.

Simple maintenance
Rear gull wing opening ensures easy access and room for maintenance. All cutting cylinders can be positioned outwards for easy accessibility and maintenance.
The Heart of Baroness
At the heart of every Baroness reel mower is the cutting cylinder and bedknife. No-one takes more care than Baroness! Every cutting cylinder is individually balanced before being installed and our heat treatment process ensures that the cutting edges of both our cutting cylinders and bedknives stay sharp and true.
Control levers
The levers have been ergonomically positioned for ease of operation and reduced operator fatigue during prolonged usage.
